Childlike / Finish

You can be child-like-I,
Feeling all things tremendously.

You can be deadened inside;
Nothing moves you stupendously.

You can seek middle-just-right,
Finding extremes horrendously.

You'll find things catching your eye,
Catching them the sole aim you'll see.

You could live dreams all your life,
Drifting always pretend to sleep.

You may balance edge-of-knife,
Staying upright defies all feats.

You might rather rush the line,
Finding death at the end a treat.
